The National Elections Commission of the Sinoe County Association in the Americas (SCAA) has released the Guidelines to govern the election of national officers of the Association during Convention 2010 slated to be held in Sacramento, CA on July 10th 2010.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Organization of Liberians in Minnesota, Dr. Clarence Yaskey, has appealed to Minneapolis Mayor, R.T. Rybak, to assist in the extension of Deferred Enforced Departure (DED) for Liberians. Dr. Yaskey said the extension will allow those Liberians on DED to stay in the US for additional 18 months.
